Technical Sales Engineer

As a Technical Sales Engineers, you will work closely with sales team to assist on technical supporting and consulting; and you will be representative for the company to present the product and consult the user/ customer.

Duties & Responsibilities

Collaborate and exchange knowledge and expertise with software development department at GSI Group;
Responsible for the sales with the objective to hit quarterly sales target;
Provide technical product support and training for customers and prospects in software usage and broader implementation into the design workflows;
Assisting Sales team on technical consult and presentation to prospects;
Creation and maintenance of technical documentation (FAQs), how to guides and videos and promotes documentations/videos;
Prepare specialized Allplan training programs/course/documents (webinar, videos, etc.) and conduct the presentation to customers/external parties;
Being enthusiastic, flexible, and willing to travel nationally to visit potential/existing customers.

Experience, Knowledge & Competencies

Bachelor/ Master’s degree in Civil/Infrastructure Engineering, or related field;
Having experience in structural or civil engineering;
Having experience on BIM and its standards;
Experience in using 2D/3D drafting, using applications such as Allplan, AutoCad, Revit and/or Tekla;
A customer-centric attitude;
Strong problem-solving skills;
Structured working manor, good analytical skills, and attention to detail;
Excellent communication skill;
Ability to define, organize and prioritize tasks independently;
Good English: speaking, reading.
